    Some question about the game

1-Can you make your character summons other characters to help you in battle?

2-How many map/world can you make for this game?

3-Can I make my character travel from another island?

Re: Some question about the game

1-Can you make your character summons other characters to help you in battle?

    Nope.

2-How many map/world can you make for this game?

It depends on how many other things you make. The memory limitations are weird and interact. A detailed field can use up so much memory that you could only make a few of them, but tiny fields can be made by the dozens (even hundreds?). I do not know the arbitrary limit in the editor, but you won't be able to use them all and still have room for a game.

3-Can I make my character travel from another island?

Not On-Screen, but a warp is easy.

    I hope that helps.

    Peace.

      I got some other question

1-How do you set up the enemies on the map?How do you put lvl 1-10 monsters and 10-20 monsters in different area?

2-Is there an air castle that I can add in the game?

Re: Some question about the game

I'll take these in reverse order.

2-Is there an air castle that I can add in the game?

Not as such. There is one that they call Castle in The Sky, but I can't tell why (HEY... I'm a Poet, and I don't know it, but my feet show it, 'cause they're Longfellows!) (Sorry).

You can raise events off the ground using the R2 button, but with those bases towns / castles really don't look that good.

I have made floating gardens out of the wild flowers by raising them after placing them, but it is just for looks.

1-How do you set up the enemies on the map?

Enemies are set on page 3 of the field editor.

How do you put lvl 1-10 monsters and 10-20 monsters in different area?

        You can not.

You can, however make duplicate maps with the same name and stuff, but different monsters.

The other way is to use event battles for either the high level or low level fights and set the other to default.

The problem with that is that both will be available near the event battles. But if they are the tougher monsters it could be made to work.

I answered in reverse order so I could point out that this is simple with RPGMaker 2. You can get very detailed with all aspects of game creation with that tool. Even your floating Castle is easily done.

        I hope that helps.

        Peace.

Just use the R2 (I don't think it's R1...) button to scroll through the pages. You'll find it.

Besides, you should familiarize yourself with the stuff on all those pages! You'll make a much better game.

And any USB Keyboard will work... so far as I know.

            Good Luck with it.

            Peace.

It's true about the keyboard. I am currently using a viewsonic for mine, and it's never failed me with either game. You might even be able to use a normal keyboard with a USB adapter. Haven't tried it yet though.

                  Wow... Loud.

You can make up to 20 field maps. These may not all be possible as a detailed field can waste tons of memory.

But yes, you can copy and paste a duplicate field for stronger monster parties in the same place.

                  Hope that helps.

Thanks for the keyboard confirmation, Libra. I had this thought about USB 2.2 (or something) not being compatible when I was typing that. I was thinking of flash memory devices (max drive substitutes). That smacked my memory back in line.

                  Peace.

                      Just be prepared to think.

If you've never programmed anything computer, even HTML or Basic, then there may be a bit of a shock when you first start trying things.

There is a sample game you can play plus look at how it was made to get a feel for how this all works.

                      That helps.

                      Good luck with it.

                      Peace.

Re: Some question about the game

Music can be changed whenever you want.

                          Mostly.

There are probably a couple exceptions.

RPGM2 has fully customizable music, but 3 only has a list.

I look forward to seeing a game from you someday.

                          Peace.

I wouldn't say RPGM2 has "fully" customizable music. There is no real music editor in it, and it doesn't give you enough sound effects to choose from to make anything like RPGM2's default music.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

This is true, the music you can create from scratch on RPG Maker 2 can only sound so good. The only one that truly has fully customizable music would be RPG Maker XP.
                              Games:

SS World (RPGM2) Extravaganzicon Contest Winner
                              A Ronin Story (RPGM3)
                              SS World 2 (RPGM2)
