Ok guys bare with me cause I just got on to this site and I have a few questions.
1.) So I hear you can make a zelda game but would need a lot of time and effort, what would the actualy battle screen look like in a way on this game since your characters are small and puny?
2.) If you can make a zelda game ddoes your weapon show?
3.) What is the maximum health and damage?
I Think that will be all for now thanks.

The battle screen would look like the regular screen. With an active battle system you are always in the battle screen.
2.) If you can make a zelda game ddoes your weapon show?
Yes. This has been done masterfully by both Nash7777 and Doyleman. If you have a PS2 file transfer thingy you can get both games here.
3.) What is the maximum health and damage?
With custom systems they can be whatever you like.
That's why many people who use it think RPGM2 is the best. You can do almost anything you want.
There is a thread here about making a custom zelda like system.
It may be of help.
Good luck with it.
Peace.

As far as max stats go, if you use the default battle system and its default scripts, the max stats are as follows:
All stats of playable characters (HP, MP, Strength, etc.), max of 999.
Monsters have a max HP of 9999.
Items and equipment, also max 999.
But as said, with some amount of work, you could use different amounts.
And damage has no maximum.

True, but if you use the monster's default HP amounts, you'll want to avoid letting party members deal too much damage in battle. With that 10,000HP amount (okay, 9999HP, but 10,000 is slightly cooler), even a final boss with that much HP would go down in just a few turns if you have a 4-member party dealing over 1000 damage. You'll have to balance it out so that they're dealing the right amount of damage by the time they reach the final boss.
So let's say, if the player reaches the final boss at L40 (or L30, or whenever), the player has a full 4-member party, and you want the battle to last maybe 10 rounds. You wouldn't want the average damage dealt by the party being over 300 (including the fact that some turns will be spent healing).
If you're using your own HP amounts, then by means, let them take off 3000.

So just give your boss 50,000 or more HP.
Is easy.
Just set up the damage script such that it knows when this boss is being damaged and adjust the formula accordingly (either begin with HP = HP x 5 or use another variable set to 50000 for that bosses HP or give him 5 revivals with no on screen death / revival effects... the possibilities really are limitless).
No problem.
The maximums mentioned in this thread are only for default settings. You can change anything. If you want bigger numbers actually displayed you may need a custom menu system too. Very Hoopy.
Good luck with it.
Peace.
