Been without power for two days. We just had a little ice storm and I don't have power for two days, and to rub it in my face, half of the development I live in has power.

The power around here goes out at the tip of the hat.

Now I must go to the grocery store....grrrr....

It seems a lot of people aren't doing their jobs.

The vending machine in our common room has been out of water for two weeks. Don't they know that it's my only source of hydration?

My brother has Duke Power because he lives in Durham. One time he was stuck in his house for like a week with no power and the storm wasn't even that bad. I know what your talking about, they are a pain. I'm lucky I live on the east coast of NC so I don't have Duke Power.

I hate Duke Power, they always drag their feet. Since they're the only power company around, at least where I live, they know that they don't have to do quality work since peple can't switch to a better provider. I remember waiting a week to get my power back a few years ago.

Plus you can't complain to them, since their phone system is all automated. And they are pretty much a monoply here in NC.
