I just got the first volume of JoJo's bizarre adventure (well technically the 13th lol) Man oh man am I loving it ^_^ I just wish they'd release 1-12 XP

Yeah, I need to pick this up, the preview was great. It starts off with Jotaro Kujo's story.

So yeah i found out that the anime isnt nearly as good as the manga. Quite frankly i was kinda dissapointed...unless it gets better. Anyway got volume 2 and man oh man does it rock! Mycomic store has import figures of advol and the french guy with the knight stand, sooooo tempted to buy em'

Polnareff is the French guy, his stand is silver chariot.

I'm looking forward to picking up the manga, but I recently ordered from this crappy seller and they shipped me the wrong books. Now I have to do it all over again. I'm also getting BOBOBO and volume 4 of Dr. Slump.

Yeah, when they went back and animated the parts of the Jotaro Kujo arc that the first series skipped, they accidentally left out all the humor that made the show unique. The last six episodes are still fun, though.

I liked the anime a lot, so I'm sure I'll love the manga.

I thought the anime had enough funny moments, like the conversation that happens after that guy's head is sucked into the water bottle, and when Iggy attacks Polnareff.

I haven't seen the new CG-crudfest that is the second JOJO series. I only like the one that's animated with cels. CELS!

And the jojo game is fun, but there are a lot of cheap moves!

In my opinion, it isn't the digital animation that makes the new series bad. It's the complete lack of humor. They even make an orangutan in a navy suit seem boring.
