And that's in addition to "E"? Or did they simply change E to E+10, like how they changed K-A to E years ago?
EDIT: Nevermind, checked ESRB's site. Apparently this covers E-rated games that aren't Barbie-dressing games or Color a Dinosaur. I think Final Fantasy I&II on GBA would fall under this category (I noticed a few occurrances of swearing, and being an RPG, there's plenty of animated violence).
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
I think it's a good thing, because parents that are a bit more anal about what their kids play can be a little bit more lenient. Actually, I didn't know Smash Brothers was rated teen...
Ah yes, I had so much fun when I first found that out. I went straight to the old Enix boards and shouted it out, because it was showing that Nintendo wasn't kiddie. Whether Nintendo is kiddie or not is besides the point, but that post I made sure didn't do much.

I had a 5 year old kid ask me where Vice City was the last time I was act the game store. I told him I wouldn't tell him because he wasn't old enough. Then he said that he wanted to REALLY old GTAs that were okay for kids. I told him they still had bad language and violent situations while staring him mom in the eye.
I have to do that at least twice a week. Usually I talk to the parents, not the kids, and say, in a very polite voice "ma'am, you are aware of the violent and sexual situations in this game, right?" Far too often do I get a "What, violence? Let me see that!..... Goodness, that's terrible! There should be some kind of warning!"
So, anything that clears up the ERSB ratings is cool by me.

Is it any wonder that some people are still against video games. :/

While I was in fifth grade, we had a college student make a presentation on video games that included Doom being played by him. Shortly after that (but not because of it) I got doom and played it. Maybe the ratings should be much bigger or something. That mom up there that was quoted sounded like she didn't notice the game was like that. I wonder how many people even look at the rating, it certainly doesn't affect what games I buy at all... it never has.
