    a lil help plz

    I got rpgmaker 3 and i noticed in the options menu there was HDD install for me to install the rpgmaker application data into my hdd. so i did that. And i cant figure out why i did it. it seems like nothings different. i thought that maybe it meant i could run rpgmaker from my hdd so i tried but that didnt work. if anyone knows what it does plz tell me

      thats seriously it?

      Well at least its something else for me to use my harddrive for seems like its nearly useless

          I personally think FFXI is better for computer. What with the hotkeys not having to buy the 50-100$ HDD. It is, as cloud and vonwet said, next to worthless.

            If you have a computer that can run it decent.

            The PS2 version has hotkeys as well, so long as you have a USB keyboard (which you'd need for it and RPGM2 and 3 anyway).

            Anyway, the reason why you still need your copy to run the program is so that you can't just store it on your HDD and let somebody else use the disk on their own system. Copy protection. And it cuts off about 1 second on every load screen. When looking at various models, it essentially gets rid of the load time altogether, since they don't take much time to load to begin with.
