    Mini game Ideas

As we all know rpgmaker3 has significant limits, especially when it comes to minigames. I am asking that all gamers type in their minigames and challenge us to make more.

Although not all these minigames are in my game but 3 are.

    Matching Game
Can be done with storyteller or a 20 event grid.

    MineSweeper
Done with a 20 event grid. 4-5 mines

    Treasure Hunt.
Zelda's treasure chest game, done in a dungeon with chests & keys 50/50 shot ^_^

    Obstacle Course
Done in a town, time is specified and obstacles are made up up decorative events and buildings with events used as check points that must be hit.

    Runner
A thing try's to catch u on a 20 event grid, there are obstacles u can use between him and yourself, he moves 2 grids per turn, u can only move once per turn.

    Mazes
    Self-explanoratory

What other types of mini games can be made with the 20 event grid????
Or what other types can just simply be made.

Well I had made one. Its not really a mini game, its a part of my story. I have it set up were you have to beat up the bad guys by press the X button repeatedly. I use wait for key entry and hit sound effects. Copy it and paste it over and over again. Its cool the way it comes out.

This is a tiny side quest I had some fun with....
One thing I included in my RPG Maker 1 game was a little game where there are seven stones all in a row. Having received clues from people in different towns, the player has been given these colors, in this order - purple, red, green, blue, yellow. The player then touches the stones and the screen changes colors. He must touch the stones in the right sequence, however, or he is sent into another field where he has to fight his way through monsters to get back to the stones. (Oh, you noticed that there are seven stones but only five colors. Well, there are two stones that cannot be touched at all because they produce colors that are not in the sequence. I know, cruel.) But, when he finally touches the stones in the right order, he/she reaps the rewards...treasure, weapons, level up, etc. I know we don't really have tons of options with changing the color of the entire screen in RPGM3, but this could be done with the storyteller event using the different colors of text, or it could be done with sound effects instead.

Sorry, I forgot you posted there.

I had a storyteller game in the works, but I seem to have been beaten to it.

I heard someone say they were using it to make a Monster Rancher type thing.

I was going to use it to make a "Mating Game" where you picked Parents and made weird children.

I gave up on it when I heard two people were working on similair ideas. Since I do most of my work on RPGM2, the idea would be old by the time I finished it.

It is surely a challenge in 3 to make good puzzles / mini games!

            Peace.

At the risk of sounding stupid, I'm going to have to ask what, exactly, is the 20 event grid and how do you use it?

That is the total number of switches you can have in a dungeon.
