Maybe if you paid for the "giveaways".

we're not in a stable enough place financially to do a give-away.
special guest? what does that mean, exactly?

Like Having a Celebity or Someone to that extent answering some questions.

Why the heck would we want a celebraty anyways. They probably don't know how to answere the noobies questions on variables. And if you recall that one that someone in another thread, that I can't seem to remember his name, was against videogames in the first place.

Jack Tompson. Not a celebrity by any means. Clouds right, though: try asking Orlando Bloom "How do variables work?" and you'll get a very confused man.

I suppose one option could be to ask artists around the internet if they would like to donate images or simple commissions as prizes. I know I wouldn't mind offering a few pictures if it would get more people to come to the forums. But that's just a simplier way...if you had a staff artist, maybe have them offer a character image once a month for a prize drawing, or a question...or something like that.

if I ever get a real job again, I plan to do more give-aways and stuff. as things are going now, the contest that ended in september is likely the last pavilion contest with a physical prize.
