I tried Event Transition from an auto event, but it's not working.

How do I switch from one event to another in this game?

Ok, I got a man standing by another person. From what i've seen you can't auto event a char event. I want him to say a few things and then do a char action. Can I have an auto event switch to his event and then to the other guys event and back to his and ect...?

I dont think you can connect an auto event and a char event together. but i dunno.

Well the one with all the text is actually a charactor event. I can't find no way to copy the text and then paste it in an event.

From what I've read here it seems you do not need an auto event to do what you are attempting.

Can you explain why this needs to be an auto event. It should be easy if it is just talking.

I must be missing something...

I have found it very difficult to get such things to work, but possible. They went to great lengths to prevent us from having fun with cut scenes.

It would be easier if you allow the scene to start by having the player talk to the character.

Otherwise just be willing to do lots of trial and error (mostly error) and perhaps lose some hair.

I'll play around later, and see if I can come up with something for you.

Cool thank you Rodak! I too loved to create cut scenes in RPG Maker 1 and 2.

Any way to fade the screen to black?

I mean and stay black till all changes to property and party is done?

Under Display; use Fade Out, do your thing, and fade in or let the event end (that will automatically fade the screen back in). It won't stay black if you heal the party, that calls up the status screen by default.

Apart from that, you should be able to do it with no problems.

Are you sure about the healing thing Rodak? I know I shouldn't doubt you, but I made a resting Event that faded to black, healed the party, then did a chicken noise, and I didn't see what your talking about.

Always doubt anything that does not sound right or does not stand up when tested!!

I must have been thinking about giving experience.

Since I do not use random battles (thus heal and give XP at the same time) and have a deformed brain I make these mistakes sometimes.
