I woke up this morning and there's all this hard transparent stuff all over everything. I almost broke my neck walking around outside. It's really slippery and cold and stuff. Luckily I figured out that it was weak to heat so turning on my defroster in my car cleared off my windows and stuff.

I'm scared paw.

After getting up at 5:25am, I spent an hour waiting in the bitter cold for a bus that never came. Then I called in at work and trudged back home, trying not to slide off the sidewalk. Everything was covered in ice.

I should've stayed in bed. Damn unpredictable Tex-ass weather.

Snow is almost as mythical here in Oklahoma as it is in Texas. The fact that we got snow before the new year rolled around surprises me. The fact that it's still on the ground surprises me even more. Facts are foreign to me, apparently.

Boston is the city of the weather wizard. Whatever you heard about Chicago being the windiest city is bull. It's Boston. I was walking home last night in such arctic winds that tears just kept falling from my eyes onto my scarf.
