So, I haven't used RPGM2 yet, because it hasn't worked on my PS2, but I might buy a new one after Xmas when everything is on sale...
My question is...Is it possible to make the Magic Kingdom? I wanted to make my RPG about these college kids who are exploring the Walt Disney World because very strange things are happening there.
But I don't want to do this if it'll prove impossible. I worked there for a few years, so I know the layout like the back of my hand. So my question is...how possible is this actually? To make a world map/field/town into the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney? Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions? Thanks!!

Well, they said a cow couldn't be done...

And while nobody said Star Trek couldn't be done,

nonetheless.
So I won't say it's impossible. In fact I've been working on a VFX Mickey Mouse just for fun.
Plus, if you get the right digital camera, you can load photo images to really make it look exact (but that wastes tons of memory!!).
Good luck with it! I'd love to see it done.

So you can use digicams for buildings and characters as well?

Only specific cameras... They must be Sony and have the Picture Paradise feature.
Few people have used this feature for that reason.
The above stuff is all made in the VFX Editor.
But to answer your question, Yes. You can use VFX for everyting from Buildings to characters to enemies to backgrounds to vehicles to silly distractions. And more.
It would be easier to just approximate it in the editor than use camera images.
I hope that answers your question.

RPGM2 isn't working in your PS2? Is it a faulty disk, or is it because your PS2 is one of those that has trouble reading blue-backed disks? Have you tried your copy of RPGM2 on other PS2s or tried other blue-backed disks on yours?
Anyway, one thing to keep in mind, there's a big limit on how many buildings you can place on the map. The bigger the building, the less you'll be able to place. And unfortunately, that won't be a lot.
But, that's not stopping me from creating a movie studio level.:)

Sweet - I'll def. check out some cameras! ( I could use one anyway..) I can't draw, so I'm afraid the VFX editor would not work for me :(
As for building limits...hmm, well there's always the possibility of warping between lands (Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, etc.)..that shouldn't be a problem...
Yeah, my PS2 does not read the blue backed disks - It's a shame...

I wouldn't worry about it... the VFX Editor has no drawing feature. You are just stretching and smooshing objects along various axes.
And if you use VFX Buildings there is no limit. Just use invisible objects to give them substance or build the doorways in the editor and fancy up the rest with VFX. There are many possibilities.
Good Luck with it.
Peace.
