Looks pretty neato. Not if it wasn't all over the place I'd be psyched.

I had to download the latest version of QuickTime.

It was worth it, though. BEAST!!!

              Damn... that looks pretty nice.

Too bad about Juggernaut's ridiculous midriff though. He and Seifer should hook up.

I was scared for it, (really scared) that this movie was gonna.... not be good? With director Brett Ratner behind it, but it looks pretty sweet.

STILL NO SENTINALS!! | (I do recall there being concept sketches though..)
Is there a law which forbids there ever being awesome giant robots in a live-action movie (well ok, except for SkyCaptain)?

Trailer looks interesting though. Should be a fun movie..

I love the X-Men movies and I'm sure I'll love this one too. Only thing I don't like is how gave them those boring black leather suits. I understand most of the comic book ones would look ridiculous in real life but they could have done something colorful. I always liked how the X-Men didn't wear matching outfits, they just put on the communicator and wore what they wanted to.

Judging from the trailer I think it's going to have a very different look and feel from the first two and the spiderman movies. It looks... more real. I'm still more psyched for Superman Returns though.

                          Re: X3

I'm skeptical of this because it doesn't appear to stay to true to the comics.

On the other hand, I look at comic book movies as unrelated to the comics, for example, X-Men is instead Mutant Team. Thus, I can look at them in a non-biased manner.

Edit: The thing that looks really good is that Dark Pheonix is gonna be in it... although they are skipping the regular Pheonix, and a lot of it was filmed just outside of the town I live in.

You cant even say that it doesnt stay true to the comics. Everyone and their brother has an XMen series with all different story lines and worlds and realities and all that garbage. Its gotten to be a pain in the ass to know whats going on anymore.

I'm a former fan of the comics...not that I hate them now or anything, but I've moved on, as most readers do. So long as the movie is true to the characters' personalities, it's fine by me. Whether or not they follow a specific plotline is immaterial...movies are a very different medium from comics, not everything can or should be translated exactly. Following the spirit of the work will always suck in more fans than following the letter.
