    What is the multiple character trick?

    I have heard of it, but I failed to write it down.

    To allow the same character in different maps.

    I need to have one character that is in the town map to be also in the one building.

    I don't want to have to make multiple characters if I don't have to.

    I haven't heard of such a trick existing. Far as I know of, it was just some rumor or misunderstanding.

      There is a way to "recycle" ONE character.

      It must be your main character.

      But... The character you use as your starting character (or all characters so used I guess) can be placed as (an) NPC(s)! They are on the character list when placing people on maps so this is obvious and may not need to be said, but I said it anyhow.

      This is silly and useless, but it may help someone...

          100 character limit, huh? Seems small to me, but they should've have 200 instead so it doesn't seems so small. I did remember somewhere that they were going to have a 200 character limit into the game, but I guess they change they minds.

            There's a multiple save trick somewhere around here where you get to carry a play save from one game file to another, unless if it was bogus or something.

            If you can use that, then you just have to plan accordingly and you have as many characters as you want.

              No it works, but you MUST back up your games on another memory card or you'll lose all your hard work.
