Official Animal Crossing: Wild World Topic

I'm not a big fan of 1up but this was a well done review: here

I'm thinking of getting this game for my sister for christmas so we can visit each other's towns while I'm overseas on active duty. I think it comes out tomorrow and it incorperates online wi-fi play so you can visit your friends towns. Other than that... it's Animal Crossing but it can be played with the Stylus which should make t-shirt creation and letter writing a whole lot easier. I believe movement can optionally be controlled by the stylus so you can play the game completely with your right hand while you're left plays with your remote [control].

Oh yea, there are no NES games (an image in the review explains why, hehe). Also, I HOPE TO GOD THAT ANNOYING PANDA ISN"T IN HERE. No matter how many pitfalls I put in front of his house, angry letters I sent him, or even 10 year time warps, nothing made that guy leave... nothing. I also remember a sheep (baa-bara?) that was annoying as well. I had all the lame people in my village.

I'm thinking about getting this too. I never played Animal Crossing on GC but I've heard a lot of good things about it and I'd love an online game for my DS. I'm considering Mario Kart too.
I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

It's been a long while since I played AC. I'll gladly pick this one up.

I'm avoiding this like the plague. I wasted 3 months of my life in the GameCube version. By the time I realized I was spending 3 or 4 hours of each day doing the exact same routine (look for new bugs and fish, chatting with everyone in town to get their random quests, digging around all over the place, and checking the store for items I may not have bought yet), I was flat-out tired of it and got rid of it. Simply put, getting this one will take up way too much of my free time.

Besides, no real holidays or NES games?

If I get a DS for Christmas, I'm getting this too. Being able to mess around with your towns is too tempting to pass up.
When I used to play the game, I'd borrow my sisters memory card when she was gone, visit her town and bury t-shirts and other random things all over her town. Drove her nuts...

Nevermind, you just have to finish his stupid chores. My code is 2062-1909-8624

Better keep your Friend Codes handy. You can add, remove and switch them around whenever you'd like, but you can only have up to 37 on your list at a time.
