    A Clue to Revolution's Release

This may sound a bit stupid, but I'm going to blurt it out anyway.

On http://www.gamefaqs.com, all the Nintendo systems(DS,GBA,GCN) have all there release dates ending at March or sooner. This can be seen at each systems' page near the bottom. You would figure from this that they're not making anymore games. I know they are, it's just that it's coincidental that they all end at March. This may sound stupid again, but maybe Nintendo is putting it on hard for Revolution and they are forgetting their other great systems. I don't know, it's just a thought. I just thought from this, the GC, DS and GBA are making way for the Revoultion around March, April, or May or June. I'm not sayng this is what I think is officialy going to happen. It's just a thought, so please don't bash.

What do you other guys think about this?

Yeah, I found that sometime before. Didn't think to put it here. It ranks up there with something.com. The best part is, that's really part of Nintendo's site.

At first Manigation's theory seemed like a big jump to conclusion but I read something that made me think there might be something to it. I read in a mag that after Zelda: Twilight Princess was delayed and pushed back from it's March 31 date rumors surfaced that Nintendo is considering moving it to the Revolution. It sounds to me that some people expect a game that comes out after Q2 06 to be a Rev game.

Yeah, it's just another coincidence based on conjecture and rumor but when those start to line up it sometimes adds up to something meaningful.

Incidentally, a number of development houses working on Rev next-gen games that wish to remain anonymous were told of Revolution being potentially bound around "Thanksgiving of 2006" by Nintendo.

Re: A Clue to Revolution's Release

That sounds about right. Almost all of their systems are released in the last few months of the year. I think the one exception is the Game Boy Advance, which conveniently came out the day after my birthday.

Besides, I'd say it's very unlikely that Zelda Twighlight will wind up on Revolution.
