Questions about RPG Maker XP?

I have RPG Maker XP for PC(don't ask where...) and have a question. If you take a good look at the trailer for it you see ninja fighting other ninjas. Is this possible instead of using that other one without scripting? I plan to make a Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire game so I'd be having the characters use spells. Is this possible, thanks?

Pretty much everything is possible with the time and patience to make it. And as I've heard scripting isn't necessary unless you plan on altering the mechanics of the game.

Yeah, pretty much anything is dooable (if that is even a word).

You just need to research scripts and see how things work, then go in try copying scripts and seeing how to build them.

Then just build from the ground up, with custom graphics and your custom scripts.

Um, just a wild guess, but I'm assuming you have it... on your PC?

joking aside, yeah, you can do pretty much anything you can imagine with XP, but it is gonna take a lot of scripting, and a lot of custom artwork too to animate the things you plan to do. XP is a full game development suite, and has the difficulty and complexity you'd expect from such a thing.
