Temporary Setbacks

[RPGD]

Valkysas recently caught pneumonia and was rushed to the hospital, so he will be out of commission for a week or so. During this time, I shall be managing the website.

I'll try to continue where he left off with his Pavilion work, including the RPG Maker information topics, but in the meantime, I'll just be keeping things in order until he returns.

Hey everybody! Man, last night was rough. I'll explain just what happened.

at around midnight I took a bunch of different medicines (as scheduled) and came online for a bit before bed. at around 1, my heart rate was increasing pretty quick, and I started to feel light-headed, so I went to bed. I woke up at about 3 AM struggling to breathe, shaking, and sweating, along with having a sharp pain in my chest. it felt like a heart attack, honestly. So whats the first thing I do?

NOT THE SMART THING!

I grabbed my PSP and typed in two messages to let you guys know what was going on, and make sure things would be taken care of here if I was out of action for a while. (it's honestly my biggest worry, something happening to me and the pavilion suffering because of it) after that was done, I turned it off, and tried getting out of bed so I could get taken to the hospital. woah, legs are numb too. guess who's falling? yay, I'm falling! oh, s---, chair. Thats the last thing I remembered. I woke up on the floor, with a big bruise on my head about 20 minutes ago. the chair is broke. kind of cool. I never liked you anyways, stupid chair.

I'm guessing I had a very, very bad allergic reaction to one of the medicines I was put on. It's passed now, but I can't take any of them until we go to urgent care/hospital to run some tests and see what did it, and what needs to be changed. so until then, I feel like crap, but I dont feel near-death like I did last night. I'm gonna eat, get washed up, and then go get poked and prodded by people in white coats. don't expect me back tonight, as they may want me to stay for observation.

But man, that was the scariest night in my life. I was actually surprised to wake up at all. stupid healing treatments.

but I'd still like it if RPGDesigner and the rest of the admins and mods could keep things under control here while I'm gone. Under normal circumstances, I'd leave mora in charge, but taking into account that I dont know how long I'll be at the hospital, or how much I'll feel like coming online when I get home, I figure RPGDesigner has the best chance of being able to follow the instructions for updating submitted games and stuff without breaking the website, if he wants to try. So yeah, John Mora, still head of forums.
RPGDesigner if he wants can fill in for me as the webmaster thingy until I return to being my usual self. I'm not expecting tons of updates, new material and stuff like that. just keep things running decent on the forums and I'll be happy.

Wow! Thank God you're alright.

Take it easy and leave everything to us. We shall baste the beefs of the Pavilion with the gravy of diligence and order.

After all that, you're still posting?! Seriously, Valk, if you're reading this, stop. Just get rest. I have full faith in RPGD, Mora, and pretty much everyone on the site. So what if game aren't on for a couple weeks? I don't care.

Dude, pneumonia sucks. My uncle had it a couple years back and had to stay in the hospital for a week or so. I visited him at one point, and it was pretty obvious he was having no fun with it.
