Storytellers do not end your script like warping does, so simply insert the code for the battle (it's under Control) after the code for the storyteller in your script. You can choose character or monster battles.

You are scripting the storyteller and not talking about the one you set to open the game with, right?

The same applies for Having someone join... just use the Add Member command under Party Control.
