I was thinking more along the lines of a ninja(s) that protects/dwells in a hospital/at doctor's command.

What if he wasn't a doctor. He's just some ninja that hangs out in a hospital doing ninja stuff. I don't know I just don't automatically go to doctor when I think of Hospital Ninja.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I agree with the cow. Just because a ninja is at a hospital dosen't mean he should be a doctor. He can be a maintenance man.

No no no. He wouldn't be a maintenence man either. He's a ninja. That's his job. Being a ninja. So he just hangs out there doing his ninja stuff. Like one doctor would hire him to kill a nurse who messed up on a chart. But then he finds out that the nurse didn't screw it up. It was the doctor who did and he's just trying to shift the blame.
