Another "maybe I'll die or something" topic.

I've had the same cold for a good two months now, and sometimes when I cough I get a big bubbly wheeze in my throat.

Also, I get a pretty bad pain in my chest every so often.

But I don't feel sick or anything.

Anybody know what this is, and if I should have gone to the doctor over a month ago?

I just found out I have bronchitus today. rather bad case too, coughed up blood last night and that was EXTREME. my dad asked me why there was blood on my blanket, and I got to tell him I was having a period. man, I advise every guy do that. tell your dad that you're having your period with a VERY serious tone. the expression is priceless.

Man, every time any blood comes out of anywhere I make period jokes to my family.

I woke up, I was like "damn" and threw the blanket on the floor and went back to sleep.

Ive always had problems with nose bleeds, so sometimes I get one while Im asleep. My blakets have blood stains all over, and so does my pillow case, and sheet.

I say any time symptoms last more than two weeks go the the doc. Wish our doctors were free down here. Unless you go to a free clinic of course but then you'd have to wait behind all the STD cases and underage abortions.

I forgot to mention, but this is just my speculation to scare you in to going to the doctor right away.

Assuming it's a tumor (benine or cancerous, doesn't matter), with those symptoms the tumor is probably located in your chest cavity, next to your heart. The tumor is probably pressing against your bronchi tubes causing that "bubbly wheezing noise", the term for that is either "ralls" or "thralls", but I'm not sure. With a tumor next to your lungs, pressing against them and your bronchial tubes that's definately what is irritating you in to violent coughing fits. And it's pretty straight forward why you have bad chest pain, although sometimes it might be a bad back pain also.

Perhaps you are having night sweats also? Waking up drenched in sweat, that is a symptom also.
