    Indigo Prophecy

Anyone her invest in this game? I hear nothing but good things about it... but I really don't have the money. Sounds decent, but it looks like it might succumb to sleeper status.

Nobody cared when I made my Indigo Prophecy topic.

It's one of the best games that nobody's ever played.

It's good! Just don't be surprised when it's wrapped up like it was due in 10th period English.

Yeah, I heard that, too. But it's still good.

I have a demo of it. It basically plays like the old lucasarts games (Monkey island, full throttle, ect), so that kind of style of solving situations interests me. I'll ask for it as a x-mas gift.

I started playing it on Christmas. I loved it.

I beat it just two minutes ago. I hate it.

                      I'm scared to play it.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                        SPOILERS

I got the game for x-mas, and it is very awesome. The story is great too.
However, once u get to a certain point, other elements are added that feel very out of place, and is not explained too well (or at all, really, for the AI's).
There are multiple endings, but two of the endings I got were vey similar and not too special (me beating everyone, and me losing to the A.I.'s were basically the same) But the real fun was figuring out what to do, as well as changing some situations.

                        End spoiler

I was THIS CLOSE ( |---| ) to buying it the other day, but I've heard so much **** about how bad the ending is that I didn't bother, and I bought Killer 7 and Destroy all Humans instead.

I think I'm happy about it, but I might get it anyway one day when the price goes down, just to see what the fuss is all about.

                            Re: Indigo Prophecy

Halfway through, the game just forgets what exactly made it any fun, and it just turns into a really tame Eternal Darkness, and starts stealing as many random plot points from as many apocolyptic movies as possible.

And despite all the different choices the game seemingly gives you, all the possibilites of the story going in different directions, you actually have less pull in this game then you do in, say, the first Silent Hill.

And sentient artificial intelligence? Get the **** out, David Cage. You're not Kojima.
