    Shining Resonance

Of the true beings which rule the universe, they're are around 30. You are one of these mysterious beings. In Dungeons and Cragons terms, you are basicaly a high level over power who has forgotten your identity. Fight to regain your Essence, so that you may retake your place to the stars, and beyond! Basicaly, there are 18 characters you may choose from. (Or 17)No matter which power you choose, Resonance will be a major character in the game.

    Will
    Wisdom
    Destiny

You must be careful in deciding who you trust. There are many who would seek to use you, perverting you into becoming an evil servant of, well, Evil. You awaken after many millenia to discover you know not who you are or what you are. From a Holy Shrine, you descend onto a mysterious city. A magnificent, glorious city, the likes of which could not ever have existed during the middle ages of Earth.

I like what you have so far. You have to be careful using this concept, though. There are games that do this, but there are no real consequences for picking either. I hope that you can pull this idea off well. I do have a question for you, what did you mean by "you are basicaly a high level over power who has forgotten your identity"? If you mean the main character forgot who he is, then I suggest against it. It is one of the most cliched things used in games, movies, etc. Of course if you make it a good enough game, then that wouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm just suggesting not to use the whole amnesia thing if it isn't intirely nessicary. But if it is an important part of the plot then try to make some twist to the amnesia idea. For example: It turns out he didn't exist until (whenever.) Good luck.

Good luck. The start's already fairly cliche and predictable, and it seems very improbable this start can be taken anywhere good story-wise. It looks to be the protagonist's story will be gradually learning of his/her past and saving the world. Just something to think about: how is this shown to the player? what drives them to continue (for example, characters the player can relate to, scenes with important unexpected things happening, etc.)? mainly, where do you go from here with this start?

Basicaly, yes, you do have amnesia. You wander the city of Lylkamshean following your senses and gut feelings. Discovering an important person to you, you search for any trace of them. After discovering whatever their fate is, your power is unlocked.(You get a special ability) These people are counted toward building your town you can make yourself.(Which has it's own shops bla bla.)After building your town, which can move(hopefully I can do this) you get to travel beyond the city. If you become evil, then the Fate of the universe is doomed, and all of your efforts for caring about your people will be for nothing, as they either become like you or are destroyed. On the other hand, if you are destroyed before you can return to your full power, then the universe is still doomed, as you are, as it happens, VERY important to it in the long run.

I don't mind the brief description, any story can be good (it's all in the details)

I am asuming all your skills are given to you depending upon your actions and none of them are level dependent (aka lvl 99 or someone elses)

Because having 17-18 characters to choose from would kill the

          "Difference in choosing"

          GL though...

I suppose if your really dedicated you could pull it off
