    Custom Game Covers

I've been wanting to make custom covers for my games for a while now, but never really got around to it. Thanksgiving break seemed a good time to try. So here's my first cover. I've always loved the orginal cover to ICO so I stole it. I made a new back and spine. I did this on MSPaint at work, so it's kinda crappy and it took far too long, but it still looks better than the US cover.

    ICO cover

The other covers will be orginal artwork. ICO's is too too good to do that to though. Now to just find a way to print it out...

The Japanese cover is the exact same, except they changed his face into an ugly mug.

      Cooliness. Looks pretty offical.

Some guy on GameFaqs used to do custom Madden covers.

        I cannot tell the difference.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

The difference between what? Shut up, Drunky!

Anyway. I made a new MegaMan Aniversary Collection one. The only guy not there is SwordMan. Poor poor SwordMan.

I tried doing something like this once with a DVD case. It wouldn't fit on the page in the correct size and when I tried printing it out, it looked terrible and streaky. If you've already tried printing and it came out great, bully for you.

I did a custom back insert for the playstation version of chrono trigger, along with copying the chrono trigger parts of the manual over to a new manual that I had made at kinkos. so now it has it's own case.

I'm still trying to get the dementions exactly right so that they look good in the cases, but I'm printing them on Premium Photo paper and they look really slick. And I'm planing on not using titles if I can help it, so my collection will look really unique sitting on it's shelf.

I think the Mega-Man one could've used more effort.

Mora, do you really need the name of a game to tell you what it is, or doesn't the characters and disgn of the box do that anyway?

And Draygon, don't confuse simplicity for lack of effort. I spent a long time on it getting it too look the way I wanted.

If I'm just looking at spines, it can get difficult if the name isn't on there. And I store games with the spine out.
