    My party is too clumsy!

Hi everyone. My first post - woo hoo!

I've tried adjusting every stat I can think of, yet my party members still miss about 30% of the time...and that's too often. Could someone please tell me how to fix this? And Skills - there should be an option for 100% accuracy! (is there an option???)

Sorry if this has been answered already, I tried searching but there were no results for this topic.

    Thanks!

I have this problem as well... stat adjustments dont seem to help... I even put all my monsters agility at zero.

in addition to that my monsters guard way to often.... like 50% of the time... makes for some really boring battles. even the boss monsters that are more powerful then my party end up guarding 50% of the time, when I don't want ANY of my monsters to guard EVER!

this battle system looks great but the above problems make it very hard to make it fun.

Ulp...I was afraid of that. It's awful to think that anyone who plays my game is going to get frustrated with random battles - I know I did when playing the demo (but at the time, I just planned to change that for my own game. Silly me!). Shoot. Well, thank you for replying to my post.

Edit: About guarding - one of the first battles in my game is against the Guildmaster of the Fighters Guild. I had to reduce his HP to just 50 to prevent the battle from lasting more than 10 looooong minutes. When he guards (and he guards OFTEN), it seems like he goes on guarding for the next few turns. Very annoying! And then when he stops guarding, I'll throw everything I've got at him and miss, hit for 11 HP, and miss again, miss, hit for 8HP, miss, etc. (Actually I'll admit in one of my test plays I didn't miss even once...but that seems to be the exception and not the rule.) *cry*

Huh, that's odd. I don't recall the guarding/missing being that high when I played through the demo. Well, it was a little higher than I might've liked, but not as high as you say.

Yeah the AI management in RPG Maker 3 is terrible. I had a monster that could use a party damaging attack, but regardeless of the conditions HE NEVER USED IT(unless he was forced to use it the whole battle and nothing else)! On top of that, no matter what AI you set them to, they get pretty stubborn and do things you don't want them to do. Don't even know why INT was designed the way it was, enemies are still dumb as dirt.

I had some of these problems at first but ever since I changed my stat ratio's I haven't had this problem.
(encounter/boss tested 13-15 hours with new system)

I like the IN system, and if you don't want him to defend most of the time give him a physical first or magic first or random

random = better than balanced if u ask me
(unless u want the character to defend more)

            maybe I've just gotten lucky...
            maybe not...who knows

If someone could post what the stats do that'd help tremendously. I know in RPGM1 evasion resulted from the LUCK stat, which could be what the problem's coming from if RPGM3's the same. That does suck the AI's so ****ing retarded though.

I rarely run into the problem of my monsters defending all the time. For me they attack nearly every one of their turns. What I usually do is give them an ass load of moves and set it up so they use that type of move frequently.

I haven't run into that problem. I've found that when you use a skill/magic that
lowers def they don't block as much. Of course using a skill/magic that kills them
outright works too as I've found out.
