    Chuck Palahniuk

Has anyone else on the pavilion ever read any Chuck Palahniuk novels? I am currently reading Fight Club and that book is phenomenal. It's description and sheer reality make it an instant classic for me. I also liked the movie but it is very different than the book.

It's not that different is it? As far as I can remember they're extremely similar except for the endings and the gory details.

Chuck Palahniuk's writing style is great because it's so cinematic. The guy obviously has had aspirations to be screenwriter.

I should read more of his stuff considering it's a breeze to read through. All I read was Fight Club and Survivor, which was hilarious. Jim Carrey was supposed to star in an adaptation of that but that fell through.

I've read all his books, and they're all morbidly excellent.

I've written a couple essays dissecting them for school if anyone is ever so bored that reading something boring makes them less bored.

I read Lulluby, Survivor, and Choke. I think Lulluby was my fave.

I've read Fight Club, Survivor, and was half of Choke. Each one gets darker and darker and more depressing. I really liked Fight Club. I'd be interested in seeing how they do Survivor on the screen. Everything else, eh. Not to take anything away from Chuck Palahniuk, but everytime I hear someone going on about his books I go back to that one douche in the bar from Good Will Hunting.

If you like Palahniuk then check out Less Than Zero. End of Eva had more cheer.

I dunno. Something about Bret Easton Ellis puts me off...

I read some of Glamorama and boy was it smutty.
