It's been a great year and it's only going to get better in its second year with games like Animal Crossing, The New Super Mario Bros, Children of Mana, and lots of others. I think the DS's first year might even rival the GBA's first year.

My god, it has been a year.... And I barely played it... Anyways my favorite game for DS so far is Trace Memory, I seriously was so immersed into the story I beat it in a sitting.

I've only had my DS since September. I'm thinking of selling it. It's not that I don't like it but I almost never play. I only have two games and there's so many other things I need to spend money on and PS2 or PC games I want that I probably won't be buying any more DS games.

The DS had a pretty rough start with it's dry spell of a launch, but as soon as the big titles like Canvas Curse and Nintendogs, the DS' first super success, started rolling out, it's been a roller-coaster ride. And it hasn't even gotten to the loop-de-loop yet, either.

Kudos to Nintendo for making the best handheld console I ever used as an alarm clock.

Amongst my favorite titles are Mario Kart, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Meteos, Trauma Center: Under the Knife, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Wario Ware: Twisted!

That's because the DS' launch sucked... BADLY. Then there was a 9 month dry spell of uninspired tech demos (Yoshi's Touch 'N Go) and really bad ports (Midnight Club, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory). But once the good games started rolling (starting with Kirby's Canvas Curse, an updated version of Touch 'N Go) the DS is a blast now.

All I have is Wario Ware Touched, Castlevania, and Advance Wars. I would buy some of the quirkier titles like Pheonix Wright and Trauma Center but I can't be arsed to pay $35 for a game I could beat in one sitting so I'll wait until their prices drop.

Jump Superstars is an import title, correct? What is it like?

In my case, I usually purchased new Nintendo portables at launch. This is the first time I've waited a year, but I'm purchasing a DS soon.

Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, Polarium, Meteos, and more will be mine sooner or later.

Yeah, JSS is a Japanese game. It's like Super Smash Bros with anime characters.
