I recently finished working on my game Nomed Legna and I am currentily coming up with the sequel. Right now I don't have the right drive needed to show you guys the first one, so for the few that were at all interested in the game, it could be a while. The following is what I thought of so far starting with the characters.
Croix
Bio:
He is an evil man that enslaved Cain and forced him to do his bidding. Croix is an unusual human with the ability to absorb demons. In NL1 he summoned the demon Astaroth in order to become a demon himself. After a totally one sided battle, with Xero standing little chance, he is actually defeated. The result of his defeat causes Xero to be transported to the Netherworld.
G.O.D.D. (Grand Organic Disassembling Device)
Bio:
A machine created long before the ancient humans. The purpose of G.O.D.D. is to dissemble organic matter and create new organisms with that matter. Recently it hasn't been doing its job, preventing more living things to come into existence. G.O.D.D. is directly over the earth and is known as the moon by the ignorant masses.
Sephirot
Bio:
The youngest member of the Celestia Counsel. He has been plotting to overthrow the counsel and the 7 Kings of Hell. Sephirot has been behind the scenes of NL1, manipulating Xero's movements. His motives are currently unknown.
Dremway
Bio:
He is an angel that is obsessively hunting Xero. Dremway has a strong prejudist againsts all demons, but despises Xero's existence most of all. He used to be the head of the Holy Knights until he murdered Raziel, a noble demon and the father of Xero. This racist angel follows Xero into the Netherworld to finish what he started.
So far this is about all I got. The only other thing I thought of so far is a little tweak to the combat system. Physical attacks do not hurt your opponents, but is used to build up momentum. Momentum is used to perform powerful attacks to show the demons who's boss. You first start out with 0 momentum and in order to do any real damage to your opponents it is nessicary to build it up. That is about it for now.
If you have any questions about any of these that I haven't explained very well be free to ask. I will be honest that I may need some help with this game. I'm having difficulty thinking of new characters to help out Xero (his friends from the first game are not present.) Any suggestions would help.
