    So I read Watership Down

OK, I was a bit skeptical when my fiancée recommended this one to me. A book about rabbits? C'mon, how can that be good? But it was good. Damned good. And I think it may be my second favorite book after To Kill A Mockingbird. Bigwig is a badassed, and Hazel is a better savior than Neo could ever be. This ain't no kids book, either. Like Katamari Damacy, however, I have a hard time telling people about this book. "Um, it's about rabbits. That sounds lame, but trust me, it's not." Oh, the conundrums of life.

So, how it the 1978 cartoon? Is it worth watching now that I've read the book?

It is an excellent book. There was a cartoon movie based on it that is really awesome also.

Yeah, theres an oldchool animated movie. Its really good. Pretty sure its done by the same guys that did that sad animated movie about those two dogs that were constantly trying to escape from people after one of them was experimented on. I cant remember the name of it.

There was also a Watership Down TV series, but it was aimed at little kiddies.

By today's standards the cartoon is kind of dark and gory. High quality stuff though, it holds up well despite its age. It doesn't skimp on any of the messianic themes of the book either.

The book is awesome. The movie is pretty damn good, but not nearly as depressing as "the plague dogs," which is the other animated film that same crew/studio/director worked on.

You should be able to find a copy of Watership Down on VHS or DVD.

Yeah I love the book. I once told Blaze that he reminded me a Hazel in some small way. He got offended that I compared him to a rabbit. He didn't remind me so much of Hazel after that.

If you referred to me as Hazel, Loki, I'd want to have your kittens.

                              Yes you do. It's rabbit-tastic.

But only if you're into furries. Norms won't like it at all.
