    School

Yesterday I started wrestling practice for my school. It was more tough this year to do the stairs than ever. I was really sore(probably spelled wrong). Then I woke up the next day and I now have a sore throat. I was wondering if anyone knew if my sore throat was caused by wrestling stuff or not.

Also for you in other parts of the world how is the weather. I got off of school today because of snow. YES!!! no wrestling practice today.

sometimes when i get winded and start breathing hard my throat will hurt, but it usually doesn't last that long.

It snowed here last night. Not very much though. Not sure anyone got off school.

Yeah, I did wrestling back in middle school, and I thought it sucked ass. But yeah, I too ran stairs and all that fun stuff. It especially didnt help that it was winter time, and I got sick many times.

Barring an illness, your sore throat probably has to do with your increased activity and the fact that the air tends to be less humid in winter. I don't know how cold it gets where you are, but a scarf might help. And you'd want to stay hydrated while you're working out as well. Carry a water bottle, or put it somewhere you can access it while you're running.

          What else can you do?

I have never seen snow before in my life, save when I was an infant, a scenario of which I've no recollection for some reason.

              Re: School

I am in Highschool although I wish I had started in middle school. I would be better at wrestling. This is my second year for wrestling.

I think I am starting to get sick. I guess there is a wierd ilness in some other school around where I am but I doubt I have that. I think who I was wrestling last night may have been sick.

I hope I get sick enough not to have to go to school for the rest of this week. I hate getting sick and would rather go to school, but we just have the rest of this week until we get a week off. So why don't I just take this and next week off, besides the fact that my wrestling coach will make me make up every practice for this week.

Edit: Wow RPG Designer. I guess it all depends on where you live. Where I live we get snow every year and you get in a routing to have to shovel it off. And since I have 5 acres it is really hard to clear it off of the road. I am so Happy my dad got a John Deer last year. It is fun to watch the snow melt off of pikes peak. It takes a really long time. And the skiing rocks too. Or snowboarding if you do that.

I love snow. Or at least, I always did because I never had too spend to much time in it, or drive through it. Soon I'm gonna have to plod through it to get to class everyday, with no chance of snow days.

Man, it's been winter for a few months here.

I've only got off school for snow once in my life, and that was 'cause the city was, like, frikkin' buried.

                    Re: School

Our guy who decides when we get off of school for snow days is from Alaska. Two Years ago we had some pretty bad storms and he didn't let us get off of school. That probably made tons of parents mad at him. So now he gives us snow days whenever we only get a little bit of snow. Kinda like today. Actually my dad doesn't really care though. If he ever got even 2 feet of snow where he lived he went to school. Not only that but he walked. And he didn't have good boots either. His family wasn't well 0ff. But now he works at intel, on the chips that go in your cellphones. It's really cool being able to here about cool stuff intel is coming out with before anyone else.

Oh yeah if you can go Wimax for your internet. It's so much better. I can't get it yet or else I would.

Wow, that sounded like a "When I Was Your Age" story.

And you have to consider that some places have to compensate for the lack of competent drivers in snow or ice. A little bit of snow or ice and people in Oklahoma get exponentially worse at driving. It's not so bad in Ohio, where only the teenagers aren't used to icy roads.

The snow is friggin' beautiful in the city. For about an hour.

Then it turns into gray sludge and it ruins everything.

At least you're not in Tex-ass, where cars and drivers spontaneously combust when they come in contact with icy roads.

                            Re: School

Actually, at least in Minnesota, snow days are judged by whether the cooks and get to school and start preaparing meals. Meaning that there are snow days with either blocked roads or lost power. After all, if there's no food, there can be no school.

Sweet, so has anyone tried to do anything to the cooks. Like making there car/truck/whatever not work. Potatos in the exaust.
