I was playing through my game, and running on the beach, when the thought occured to me, the water and the entire game would be much better is the ocean accually moved, liked splashed up onto the beach, and cast mist everywhere. It would dramaticly make the whole feeling more life based and calmer, little things like that make a world of difference, unlike rights movements.

Re: Water feelings
Then I would definately reccommend RPGM2. It's real difficult to learn, but way worth it. (And before you get it and go all "WTF there are waves but why aren't there wave sounds?!?!", the waves sounds are an optional ambience rather than something you hear by default.)"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. I'll believe it when I see it. It's hard to when 3 has a lot of logical design errors, compared to 2.Originally posted by ValkysasRPG Maker 2 was made by the same people who did 3.Last edited by Crimson Knight; 11-13-2005, 07:23 PM.Quote of the moment - "When you cut down a tree, don't stand near it."

Re: Water feelings
I'm pretty sure that I saw the Runtime logo in RPGM3's credits. Is that just honorable mention?"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Re: Water feelings
In light of new evidence, I take back what I said. I just hope that the new rpg maker puts all of these elements together from these games we have been given, instead of taking a step backwards. It makes no sense to me that, as they make each new rpg maker, they wouldn't leave in the successful elements from the previous one. So what if people complained about RPG Maker 2 being difficult...that doesn't mean they needed to remove those options. They could have had it as a different difficulty setting. The inability to duplicate events and objects the way you could before is just plain stupid. I would give up the flashy graphics any day to make a great game instead. If they make a game where we could have both...now that would be something, wouldn't it?"What we do in life echoes in eternity"-Gladiator
