I don't have a working camera so I can't post an image of my little doggy-cat named Dummy, but I have told the dramatic story of how he came to adopt me elsewhere.
Since this is turning into the Dead Dog topic:
I grew up with a 350 pound Saint Bernard.
He was wonderful. Those huge dogs are extremely gentle and friendly. He would not tolerate fighting in his presence. If any two family members started yelling at each other he would run over and stand in between them and BARK (ya gotta use all caps when a 350 pound doggy barks).
One of my fondest memories of him is when he hit a car. He ran out in the street while a car was coming and they collided.
He was thrown a few feet, but go up, limped over to the car that hit him and stood on his hind legs with his front legs leaning on the driver's door and BARKED at the driver for a few seconds then got down and limped over to me when I got him medical help.
I miss him...
