    Family Guy vs Simpsons

    Both shows got digs at the other one tonight.
    The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

    I used to watch Simpsons about 3 times a day, but I have to go with Family Guy.

        Groening got fed up nearly 10 years ago. I don't even think he has anything to do with the show. He used to be the Executive Producer... now's he's the creative consultant... whatever the hell that means in media.

          All characters and scripts must pass through his hands for approval. He is still very hands on with the show.

            Both were pretty funny tonight. But the imporant thing here is American Dad still sucks. And when did Comic Book Guy get a name?

                I prefer the Simpsons. Family Guy appears to just try to rip them of and throw in some masturbation humor and nonsensical bullcrap on the side. Of course, the NEW Simpsons are starting to seem more like Family Guy.

                      I like the current Simpsons for its entrage of quirky side characters, and I like Family Guy for making fun of me for liking the things that I like. Both shows need less stupid behavior from their respective fat dad characters, though.

                      Oh, and last week's South Park had the new episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy beat.

                          I don't want to have a discussion. I just noticed that Simpsons did the Family guy joke when Homer repeatedly tried to drink beer with his severed head. Then in the credits one guy had his scary name something like Fred "Family Guy" Wilkerson. Like Family Guy is something scary. Then Family Guy spoofed the Police Story introduction and it ended with Stewie running down Homer Simpson in their garage in a similar manner to the Simpson's opening.

                          I think it's funny that they're still making digs at each other. But Family Guy won this time.

                            Comic book guy's name is Jeff Albertson. It was in the ep where Homer taught all the athletes to dance. And I just checked TV.com to confirm and found out they actually made CBG's site www.dorks-gone-wild.com.
