VFX help

Hey everyone. Im kinda new to this game(though i played the first rpgm) and i want to know if it is possible to have a VFX repeat itself while other events are happening. What I want is to make burning buildings, with the fire effect constantly repeating itself(which i've figured out how to do), and at the same time have a conversation taking place. Everytime i try to do this, the fire repeats itself, but it won't let any other events take place while it's in affect. help would be greatly appriciated, thanks in advance.

Have the fire effects take place in an action script and into the action slot in its own event.

Wow, I can't believe someone asked an RPGM2 question that I was able to answer. (At least, I think I answered that right.)

Might want to put in an Apply Together command in there somewhere just in case.
