This topic would be more interesting if you said how you got each of those.

I fractured a couple fingers playing baseball (swung at an inside pitch and the ball smashed my hand), but that's about it.

        Re: The Surgery/Severe Injury Thread

I fell and split my lip open on a plank o' wood and had to get stitches in first grade.

In second grade, I fell off my bike, and to keep myself from falling hard, I whipped my arm out. But then once I hit to the ground, my elbow bent the other way and pretty much shattered. The really funny thing is that I wasn't even going very fast at all, and also it was my birthday. Had it held with pins, then later on it was set in surgery.

I also had an asmthma attack that almost killed me when I was three, but that's not really an injury.

          Surgery:
          1. Stitches across my entire tongue (nearly bit my tongue in half with my teeth after falling chin-first onto tile floor)
          2. All four wisdom teeth removed at once.

          More severe injuries:
          1. Concussion (passed out onto hard floor due to dehydration)
          2. Broken finger (sibling crushed it by slamming the sliding glass door on it)
          3. Fractured jaw (see tongue incident)
          4. Tore a hole in my lung, pushed air into my chest/ribcage (complications from severe pneumonia)

                Re: The Surgery/Severe Injury Thread

Fractured left leg right above the ankle while playing football on recess in 6th grade. I jumped to catch the ball, and landed on another guy's foot, twisting my ankle into ways it rightfully never should have gone. I wore an air cast for 6 weeks, and even wore it during my tri-county spelling bee. I felt dumb.

Broke my right leg playing dodgeball in Christian School in 8th grade. Right above the ankle again. Cast for 3 months, no gym class for 5. Fun fun.

Surgery: All four wisdom teeth removed at once.

Most severe injury I've had was spraining my ankle badly enough to need crutches for a week.

                      I'm quite thankful for that.

                        Re: The Surgery/Severe Injury Thread

Jesus, Alt... Sure hope that's the last of your injuries/surgeries...
No one deserves that, or more for the matter.

                        Surgery:
-Tonsils and Pulips removed... I can't remember a darn thing of the OP, or even entering the OP room at all! The IV needle in my hand was the worst..
And hopefully that will be my ONLY surgery... for many a year to come...

                        Injury:
                        - Slammed my head against the floor after falling off a 2 foot tall bed when I was 10... Blood gushed like a fountain... Didn't feel anything. Was dizzy afterwards. No stiches.
                        - (self inflicted) 20% permanent hearing loss due to LOUD MUSIC. both ears. 20 infusions and an oxygen therapy which helped.
(i waited 1 week until I went to the doc... wrong choice.. should have gone ASAP).. I was so high after each infusion...
                        - Not really an injury... But I have a stomach inflammation for the past 2 months straight... No cure in sight and the pain is unbearable.
No one should go through this. Not even my enemies.

                        To sum it all up:
                        - EAT RIGHT
                        - EXCERCISE
                        - NO FOOD AFTER 6PM...
                        - AVOID... AVOID... AVOID STRESS

                          The only real injury:

I was running around at a birthday party, and ran through some balloons. A balloon string wrapped around my neck, and as I kept on running, it unraveled really fast. Slicing my neck all the way around, luckily... not too deep.

For the CPR thing, I was only a toddler, but I was at a party playing in the sandbox with the other little kids. I guess I got curious and wandered over to the pool, and just kind of fell in (no one saw me). The lifeguard was oblivious, but somehow my mom knew something was wrong and went to the exact spot I was at and pulled me out. Lifeguard rushed over and revived me, and was promptly fired. For all I know though, it could all be a lie.

Also, for the head stiches thing, my brother and I were playing Heman. He got a little to into character, and threw a big rock at me. To this day he still finds it funny to say I lost.
