It took a while to get any effect when I tried. My first few had no effect at all, then I completely disrupted the earth.

It said that nothing as big as my projectile has hit anything since before the Earth came into existence. My projectile is big and predates Earth.

The Earth is completely disrupted by the impact and its debris forms a new asteroid belt orbiting the sun between Venus and Mars.

The Earth is strongly disturbed by the impact, but loses little mass.
