HELP! ps2 Mem card erased.

after an attempt to move files between my max drive and ps2 mem card, all files on mem card are gone. Strangley, although there are no files on the card, the system reads 3151 kb free (of 8192 kb). Maybe the files are there,
just not in table of contents data.

a) is there any way to recover those files?

if not;

b) is it possible to reformat the mem card so I can at least have my 8mb space back? (3mb would suck)

press the square button in your Max Drive software. that will bring up a re-format option.

If this happened by using the "move" command, its possible your card is not corrupt, but actually destroyed.
