I see that it's out, and nobody's talking about it. I've missed out on the two GBA games, but this one has my interest. Though I want to find out if it's as good as GameSpot says before I go out and buy it.

Re: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
i bought it earlier this week.
it's basically a 3D version of fire emblem gameplay. in my opinion, there's not enough exploring you can do. it's battle to battle, menu to menu. in that regard, i prefer shining force over this.
i would say wait until the price drops, unless you have the money to spend.

Re: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Not enough exploring, huh? Well from what I've seen, games like this don't allow much exploring ever. FFTactics, you could wander around a world map, fighting in random battles, going to the pub to get information on stuff and extra missions (that don't seem to be anything you really participate in). Front Mission 4 is the only other TRPG I've seen in action (other than FFTA), and it seems to have little world map wandering and a whole lot of text with the occasional choice exploration through cutscenes. What about this game?"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Well, that's not too much of a problem to me. Though I'll probably wait anyway. BoF4 beckons me!"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Re: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
I've been watching my sister play it, it seems ho-hum. Also, the next to final boss seems impossible to beat.
She maxed out Ike's level and still can't dent the guy. I hate it when RTS games make a boss that is impossible to damage--it takes the term "strategy" right out of the game."I can dodge nuclear missles, baby!"

Re: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
I love Fire Emblem. It can be pretty addictive at times and it has good replay value. If the dialogue bores you, you can always skip it. The stories are very deep and the wide array of characters makes it really interesting. All Fire Emblem games have great replay values, so you would be getting your money's worth. I would get it, but I have no money.

Re: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
As an advocate of Fire Emblem, I'm ashamed to admit I won't be getting this.
Mostly because I don't have a GC, but also because my car is in the shop and it's racking up costs, so I don't have spare money anymore."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

I vote we start a "Get Big Rook A GameCube And Fire Emblem Donation".
