Switching Characters

OK, so I am kinda a newbie to this whole RPGM2 thing. I have had RPGM1 since it first came out, and i just recently acquired 3. I never really messed with 2 much until a little while back. Anyway, is there any way to switch characters in and out of your party and retain their stats, skills, equipment, etc? You know, like in FF6? If anyone knows how to do this that would be great.

The game will automatically retain all their stats, skills, items, equipment, etc. In fact there's no way to undo this. Otherwise, there's one command that will remove a party member of your choice from the party and one command that will add a party member of your choice. They should be under Party: (Members? maybe something else). I think there're also some other commands like moving a party member in the party to the front so that they're the leader (helpful for cutscenes) and more.
