hay will my party keep its level

will my party members keep there level if one of them leave the party and come back later or will be put back to level one.

I'm pretty sure the level will remain the same, as will the items and equipment.

Dokopop, I'm 100% sure they will keep their levels and items. In the game I am currently working on, at certain parts, I have the entire party switch with another one and when I returned the switched party members kept everything. Also, some fights I have everybody except for the main character removed and when the are brought back afterwards they still kept everything.
The only way I can see that being changed is if you make them lose/gain a level through an event before they leave or after they return (this is same for items and equiptment.) So you should have nothing to worry about.
