    Mathematical efficiency question!

    Should I:

    A) Walk every day to and from work (10 minute walk), racking up 40 minutes total of commute time a day?

    B) Drive to work (5 minute drive), making 20 minutes total of commute time a day, but costing gas?

    C) Get a bike for cheap (around $150, 4-5 minute ride), and make my commute around 20 minutes a day?

Bike. Bikes are cool, and are better exercise than walking.

I wanna get a bike for cheap, and people are telling me Wal-Mart, but I don't think I want to support them. Are they still evil?

        Always.

Garage sale, my man. Garage sale.

EDIT: My dad picked up a $500 bike at a garage sale for $15. The brakes didn't work properly, but he fixed it up and it's worked great ever since.

You can find a bike that will probably be cheap but need a little work(most likely new tires and brakes but you're a man aren't you?). I would just do the ten minute walk. I started walking home from school. It's 30 minutes with an Ipod. But now it's jeans weather so I ride the bus.

Bike, and get a cheapo. It'll get stole if it's shiney and new.

I'd go with the bike. Just be careful of the idiot drivers and try to avoid areas with heavy traffic.

Think of it this way: You're gaining 20 minutes of sleep time vs walking. Sleep is awesome.

They're saying now that bikeseats 'cause impotence and such problems - I don't really know, but check Lance Armstrong - so you might wanna look for a crotch-friendly seat. Maybe I'm just paranoid 'cause my crotch isn't seat-friendly.

Solar radiation probably causes more impotence than riding a bike.

I think from what I have heard that the bike would be best. Mostly because of Funk though. I was with walk until he said that

That made alot of sense to me.

I guess it would depend on what time of day you go to work though. If you won't see much sun I wouldn't worry about getting a bike. Instead of buying that cheap bike you can get an expensive videogame that is cheaper than the cheap bike but still costs alot for a videogame.
