Yeah, I know this is in the manual. This is mostly for people (like me) who usually don't read the manuals.
Press L3 and R3 (clicking the left and right sticks, if you didn't know) while viewing the map in the layout editor to zoom in and out. Yeah, I just figured that out. Very helpful, considering the camera seems a litte too close to the map by default.
