City of Heroes / City of Villains

I was looking at the website and it seems that NCSoft, the maker of "City of Heroes" and the upcoming "City of Villians" will only charge one subscription fee for both games. That's pretty cool for people who already own City of Heroes or for those who can't decide which game is for them.

yeah, i'm in the stress test that starts friday, but i doubt i'll pick it up, i think i'll be sticking with one MMORPG for a while, and that is WoW.

If I ever manage to get a new computer I'll definitely be picking up CoV and CoH. But who knows when or if that'll ever happen.

I played the beta of City of Villains for about an hour and a half tonight, and i have to admit, i'm really interested in getting back into the game. Even though i'm playing a villain, I love the character creation options, which seem better than CoH at this time. And there are some freaking awesome powersets.

I'm not supposed to say anything, but lets just say that you can have "minions", and it feels almost like playing as a hunter in WoW, which i love!

I started playing CoH about a month after it came out. I really liked playing for a while but, after the aniversary, I felt like I needed a break and I got tired of waiting for CoV. I suspended my account but I did play during the Labor Day trial with issue 5 and all. I made a sonic blaster to see what that was like. I didnt try the new trollers or defenders though and I really didnt get high enough with the new blaster to really see what she could do. I do like changes as far as game play goes. And the new island is definately bad ass.

I reactivated my account today so now I guess I wait.

So who got CoV? How is it? What are your characters? I've got a new laptop coming next week which should be able to play it and it's the #1 game I'm itching to get my hands on.

I am really diggin the corruptors, brutes and dominators. I could give two ****s less about masterminds, unlike EVERYONE ELSE.

I am on guardian.

I will not be able to play for the next three nights though because I am having to take down my computer due to its location. I have to have my house re-piped because they have all gone to **** due to my water so they have to tear a hole in several of my walls....F U N!

So yeah. When I am able to play again, I will give you all my info and we can hook up and ****.
