    My game

Well, after scrapping 3 games I made on RPG Maker 3,they were called Legend of the Empire,The Four Kingdoms, and Dragon Stone,I finally got far enough to introduce a game I tried to create on RPG Maker 1,it wouldn't work that well, and on RPG Maker 2,brilliant but a bit complex, and now on RPG Maker 3,I'm able to create with ease and precision. The franchise is not my original idea, but no one has bothered to make an official RPG on this, only they made Mario RPGs.I'm making Legend of Zelda:The Triforce Shards, which takes place 150 years after Wind Waker, and after the Great Sea is finally brought into a drought, and Hyrule becomes land again.I'm already 21.7%,having created all the locations and dungeons already,(6 towns and 10 dungeons)but most of the dungeons have no depth to them yet,I'm focusing more on creating the story and characters for now.Link has 9 party members, including the mysterious Ganondorf who teams up with Link for the first time to combat a greater evil than Ganondorf will ever be.

    No real-time battles.
    No slingshot/bow/hookshot/whatever puzzles.
No...well, um, that's all I can think of right now. RPGM3 is definately not a Zelda-friendly tool. On the plus side, Link teams up with Ganondorf. I've always wanted that to happen.

I seriously hope that Link doesn't talk. And, that he looks as close to the traditional Link as possible.

wtf, Ganondorf teaming up with Link? Doesn't Ganondorf have any pride? What's wrong with him? Evil - my ass.

Anyways, I don't approve of spin-offs or remakes of games unless they are vastly different and well-done to the extent of which calling them a spin-off or remake is an instult. Once you post more than a sentence or two about the story and characters we'll be able to say more about your game specifically.

        Re: My game

I've always wanted to create an RPG Zelda Game, because they made an RPG Mario Game(Three times!)and I enjoyed all three, and Zelda seems fitting for an RPG,just got to adjust it so it fits into a RPG Storyline and Atmosphere.Link doesn't talk, don't worry. The World is five map sectors long, and within that, you have only 6 towns(including Ganon's Castle)and 9 dungeons,so there is a lot of walking, but theres enough to interest.I like spin-offs,if only they do the material justice.I doubt RPG Maker 3 can do Zelda barely any justice, but all the familiar characters from past Zelda Games return, the zelda mystique and dungeon puzzling returns(Since Twilight Princess for GC will have new weapons,I see no point in using the hookshot/boomerang or any other cliche Zelda Item, because it will be different enough to call it its own game, but still have Zelda elements.)Ganondorf will be teaming with Link,to combat a greater evil(A new villain)and many of the traditional Zelda locations are here, including Hyrule Castle,Temple of Time, which includes the Master Sword, and the usual temples, with some new ones.Link will be teaming up with new characters, and two returning ones,(including one that will shock you),and the story, like most Zelda games, requires going back and forth,(I will use modes and variables to make the characters say something different with different conditions and items you got.I will post more information later.

Yeah, sorry. I think I may have come down a bit hard since I've never really liked Zelda games.

Actually, there were four. Super Mario RPG on SNES, Paper Mario on N64, Mario & Luigi on GBA, and Paper Mario 2 on GameCube. Mario & Luigi 2 is coming out next month, I think.
