Free sound recorder?

I'm looking for any simple free program to record with a microphone on my computer. Windows Sound Recorder limits your recording time to 1:00 and it sounds like crap.

...so yeah.

I'm trying to record from a four-track recorder to my computer. Having it stop and start up again in the middle or me trying to sync up chunks of recording would be stupid.
