    Ending and Credits

I'm looking around the events, and I check out the Ending event command. It gives me two slots to put in a storyteller. One says "ending sequence", the other "credit sequence".

What's the difference? It seems like all they do is activate one or two storytellers with just a single command. Aside from if you wanted a game to have multiple endings but wanted to keep part of the ending the same, I see no point to having the ending consist of two storytellers.

What's more, it doesn't show the game credits after they're done. I really miss the feature from RPGM1. Sure you could create your own credits in RPGM2 (though you had to painstakingly copy the credits in RPGM2's intro), but RPGM3 just doesn't do scrolling credits too well, since there's no automatic text option that I can tell.

ending would be just that. the ending to the story. credits i imagine would be afterwards when the credits would actually roll. course with three you gotta do 'em the hard way. dunno why they left the title screen and credits options out of two and three. it's one of the only things i truly miss from RPGM1
the legends have returned...whenever i can finish these, lol.

Yeah, but one could simply add the hard-to-create credits at the end of the "ending" storyteller", instead of separating the two.

Not that there would be many credits anyway...

Well not if you didn't include RPGM3's credits. Yeah, the credits would consist of

          "Game Created By
          Me"

          And that's it.

But I like including the maker's credits in my game as well. It makes it so I can go ahead and have nice music during the credits without it having to be a 5-second song.

I know what you mean. I love the Victory BGM, and noticed I have no use for it other than credits. I will probably add all the people who have helped me out in my game, and what ideas/suggestions they had.

Good luck with that. I'll just probably add a section that says "Special Thanks to Everyone at RPGM Pavilion and RPGM Mag." Keeping tabs on who's who is a little too difficult for me.

The victory theme is pretty cool, reminds me of one of the themes from
star gate lol. But ya you have to add RPGM 3's credits or else it would be way
                to short.
But I was thinking of a plan to dye one's whiskers green.

...why would you even bother adding the credits to any of the rpg makers in your game when they're readily available in the manual for reading?

                    Re: Ending and Credits

Again, so that the ending credits of your game is more than 5 seconds long. I don't know about you, but I'm one of those people who will sit through the end credits of movies/games and to a lesser extent TV shows because I want to hear the music at the end. Without those RPGM credits at the end, you're not going to hear much of an orchestrated song at the end.
