    Expanding the character limit

    Okay,

So you can only have 100 characters. BUT! Events are not as limited. You could use events to trigger conversations with character's that are not otherwise present.

For example : make a library building, then have have an event person or event ask you whom in the library you would like to talk to etc, and then run the appropiate storyteller and event occurrences.

That sounds like a good idea.

        That's rude. You lose rep.

And while that idea is kinda good, it just doesn't change the fact that you're in a mostly empty room aside from a few people you simply cannot see.

Interesting idea, but then you would be wasting precious storytellers (you get only 100 as well)...

          @Aminveloscasin

Was there really a need for that comment?

make the door opening sound effect and then some walking sound effects
and it seems like the guy just walked in the empty room.

Serriously. Some people here (well only a few) are rude jerks.

I don't have rpgm3, but would it be possible to use an auto event to force them into a story-teller upon entering a building and warp them back out after? That'd get past the invisible character issue, as well as save even more characters.

Yeah, but unfortunately, RPGM3 has an annoying habit of making the screen normal whenever you exit a battle/storyteller or go into the next area, even if you made the screen black beforehand, so you'll wind up seeing the new room momentarily before the storyteller loads. At least I know this is the case when battles end. I'm assuming it's the case any other time.

Along with that, there's no branch option in the storyteller mode.

Indeed. It is quite annoying to always have a glimpse of the screen pop up. I would think fading to black would work, but, alas, it doesn't.

                      Re: Expanding the character limit

Sometimes, that switching back to screen problem can be a real pain. It totally ruins the mood expecaily if you have a battle in between storytellers.
That is not cool! Anyway, Haitoku No Honoo, is right about wasting those precious storytellers. Plus, using too many will kind of put a damper on your plans when you want to have an important scene, but you already used most of the storytellers for characters. Save as many storytellers as you can for what is really important. If some of these characters are important then maybe it could work out.

That's what I do, you have to use story teller to the max.
