Help!!! Can you alter dungeon encounters with an event?

I've been using RPGM3 for a week or so now and I can't seem to make an event mode cause the dungeons random encounters setting to go down.
What I want is to have a boss event (Battle mode) that after you defeat the boss, the dungeon's monster encounters frequency alters (to none in my case)
    Please help!!!

You could just warp to the start. In fact, unless you have a supersmall dungeon, your players will resent just walking back to the start.

The thing is, I wanted the fact that the boss had been defeated to show in the frequency of his minions. Or show that the heros had "cleaned out" the lair

The only way i know if is the create a skill or item that reduces the encounter rate.

Only thing I can think of is to warp them to a dungeon that looks exactly like the one they came from. (except that it has no encounters) Instead of the usual exit that goes to the field, add an event that asks the same "Go outside" question and rewarp them outside the original dungeon.

Once you beat the boss, give someone the ability that lowers enemy encounters by 1. So if you have it set at Low, there will be none; if at average, they will be low. That should do exatly what you want to do.
I believe you can just give someone the skill. I know I put it on some of my party members.
