    Event Movement

    Ok i know it shouldnt be this hard for me but. . .

    How can i get an event to move from point A to point B ?
    Example: Main Char enters a town and a townie -walks- up to him and displays a message like welcome to "blah". i just cant seem to make events move i know the best way to learn is to play around with it but --ugh i just cant get it to work help me someone?

    i just started the game mind you :P

    For my answer, you can't. You can tell them to change direction, but that's it.

      well thats less than cool. That greatly restricts things. Cant see why they would leave that feature out - even the first one had that

        Well this one was ment to test out some new stuff. They threw in some other random commands just so it was possible to create something. That, and they really wanted people to use that storyteller mode. I myself won't be using it much, despite the regular scenes possibly being crappy.

          Yes, unfortuantly there isn't any on screen movement via events. You only have story tellers. Like for your example, just have it fade to black, then start a story teller where the townsperson walks (scrolls) to you.
          Current Project: Writing the story for my next game. That is all.

            But...,you can WARP your party. So have your character Warp to where the event is at, then you can start a normal discussion. If you have more then two people talking though, use the storyteller. (Actually, the story teller isn't that bad. Some of mine are really long, but it's great when there's a whole heap of dialogue.
