    RMXP sample games

    Okay, so I'm able to play the sample games since I bought the Japanese edition last year, and I'm able to see the text. Now, if only I could read Japanese.

    I tried Babelfish and other online translators, to translate To near (yeah, I know it has a lot of humor that's hard to translate), and I got this for the first piece of dialogue in the game.
    ユン パーシャ
    "Al! Al っ cod!
    Just a little, occur! ! "
    I know online translators suck, but I was hoping to be able to try to figure out what was really meant to be said. But, I don't have a clue. (The best I can get from that is "Al! Al, you cod! Something just occurred to me!" She's probably actually trying to wake him up.)

    So um, is anybody here capable of reading Japanese and willing to translate these games? Or maybe someone else online already did, though I haven't seen such a case.

    If not, oh well, at least I'm able to play them. But I'm missing out on the story.

    To Near is simply too far out to successfully translate in english as there are words that simply don't translate or transist well into english. As far as I can tell, in the intro the female character is singing Al a Japanese folk tune to get him to wake up and then she makes a reference to the sun which is named Bankeretsu or something like that.

    The other 4 games actually translate much easier.

      Yeah I know, but still, even if the game couldn't have a perfect translation, it would be nice if it were in English.

        I'm pretty sure enterbrain will release them, they used screenshots of them in the promo video, so they kind of HAVE to include them. due to the promo video, EVERYONE was under the impression they would be included. since they are not, it's false advertising, which is a wee bit illegal.

          Well I'd understand if that Star Wars thing wasn't going to be available. Other than that, here's hoping. To near was the one I was most interested in. Maybe they couldn't finish translating them in time for the release or something.

          Hopefully they won't cost us extra.

            Yea I really hope Enterbrain wasn't pulling our chain by showing off clips of the translated samples. If they did, I'd boycott their products... for about 5 minutes.
