Undocumented oddities and others in RPGM3

While watching the opening movie in RGPM3 I came across a screen where someome was entering text and the little quill wasn't going anywhere. Having a handy-dandy USB keyboard, I plugged it into the USB port on my PS2 and TA-DAAA! Keyboard text input ala RPGM2. Just start typing.....

    Other things.....

When my cousin asked about what this game was like, I answered very truefully.

    "It's like a Micro-Morrowind"

You can take Marrowind mods and make light verisons for this engine. Heck, with a little pratice, you could make a "Marrowind Light" for giggles. It won't be expansive, but it would make a neat challange.

I was origanally frustrated by the limitations of the engine, but now I'm absolutly facinated by them. I'm a little irked at silly things, like the "Anime" faces are actually under "Drawn 4". Also "Anime" seems to be "Disney". Some of the pictures look absolutly unprofessonal (I'm not talking about "Pop-art" either, that's understandable.) It's also irritating that the Japanese-like anime faces don't have a matching 3D model. You have asian characters that are being applied to very caucasian body. I've worked around this somewhat by playing mix/match with 2d faces/3d bodies. However you have this really cool male "Adventurer" face in "Drawn 4" and not a single body to match him.

So anyways, anyone else make any discoveries? How about finding a good Japanese Anime/3D body match for the game? Do you think it's fair to call it "Marrowind light" ir is it giving it too much credit....

I just noticed that the keyboard is completely un-documented in the manual. thats really strange, seeing how agetec has been very open about the inclusion of keyboard support.

yeah, I talked to agetec about that quite a bit. in the end, it was decided to have agetec do a portal site, so they could always be in control of the site that was linked to in the manual. several things led to that decision, such as us not being able to reclaim the proper pavilion domain name, and thus we would have to use this temporary one in the manual, which will only link to the forum after we DO reclaim the proper domain name.
